I am a theoretical physicist, specializing in the dynamics of strongly correlated systems and quantum materials. I like studying the way that the laws of quantum mechanics interplay with the more everyday, so-called "classical" laws of physics, in the behavior of many materials, both solids and fluids. Before joining the faculty in Ariel University, I studied at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, and did postdoctoral work at the Fine Theoretical Physics Institute (FTPI) in the University of Minnesota.

I'm married to Rena, and we have three lovely daughters, Ateret, Shaked, and Racheli, and one boy, Noni.
